Lara Deni  began her teaching career at an early age of 14, traveled as a professional adjudicator and choreographer at a young age of 16, and later went on to get her BFA in Dance. Lara has been trained in West Coast Swing, Salsa, Ballroom, Latin, Swing, Ballet, Modern, Hip Hop, Tap and Jazz dance styles.Lara is the most prominent teacher of West Coast Swing in the Virginia/DC Metro area. Lara is a 2019 World Swing Champion. She also holds top 3 World placements in 2016, 2017 and 2018 and over 25 National Titles.  She has been teaching Wedding couples for over   20 years and loves seeing their first dance become more than they expected and a big part of what made their wedding so special

Starting in 1991 Lara created her two unique programs “Latin Cardio” and “Hip Hop Aerobics”, which she taught at numerous gyms in NYC, Maryland, Virginia and Washington DC. Lara is certified as a WSDC Judge and Ballroom Instructor, and she currently travels nationally as a adjudicator, instructor and competitor. She not only has a love for teaching, but also for watching her clients evolve through their learning in dance.
